After leaving the military service, he re-joined the hunting sport & became interested in deer hunting & the sporting rifle. Today, rifle marksmanship is a hobby & great pastime for him. He currently resides in the state of South Carolina, which offers plenty of opportunities for varmint hunting & one has one of the longest deer seasons in the United States.
