    M1846 Enlisted Engineer Fatigue Jacket: is Single Breasted and features a 3" Black Velvet Collar with a single loop of 1-3/8" yellow lace with Red Piping surround. Coat features our 20 oz Dark Blue Wool as standard. Nine small buttons close the front. Functional cuffs with a single small button. Curved Shoulder Straps with 3/8" yellow lace surround and small button. Two small pockets to hold musket caps on the front.

    Correct Engineer buttons are supplied ready for you to sew on. Machine stitched buttonholes. Coat body is lined in osnaburg with natural cotton sleeve lining. Rank chevrons were used on 1846 Engineer Fatigue Jackets. There were no staff sergeants in the Engineers at this time.

    This REPRODUCTION Clothing item is Made in the USA. This a quality reproduction item made as close as is modernly possible. Sewing is done by machine to keep costs down (except where hand sewing is required) and most do not show externally. Some items offer hand sewing on exposed stitching (such as buttonholes) for an additional cost.
