Enlisted Dragoon Breast Collar, U.S. Mexican War Black leather breast collar. The side bars are curved to fit the horse's chest. Adjustments are made with brass horseshoe buckles on each side bar and the strap going down to the girth. Plain Brass Heart in the center.
Officer

U.S. and C.S. Civil War Breast Collars
Enlisted
Enlisted Breast Collar, Plain Leather Heart, Civil War Leather breast collar. The side bars are curved to fit the horse's chest. Adjustments are made with Black buckles on each side bar and the strap going down to the girth. Plain Leather Heart or Plain Brass Heart in the center. U.S version is Black Leather and Confederate version is Russet Leather.
Officer
Officers (all branch) Breast Collar, Civil War Leather breast collar. The side bars are curved to fit the horse's chest. Adjustments are made with Brass Buckles on each side bar and the strap going down to the girth. Small Brass Heart with Eagle or Large Brass Heart with Silver Eagle in the center. U.S version is Black Leather and Confederate version is Russet Leather. This can be made either with or without fancy stiching.
Artillery Officers Breast Collar, Civil War Red Panel on leather trimmed side bars. The side bars are curved to fit the horse's chest. Adjustments are made with Brass Buckles on each side bar and the strap going down to the girth. Small Brass Heart with Eagle or Crossed Cannons in the center. U.S version is Black Leather and Confederate version is Russet Leather.
Cavalry Officers Breast Collar, Civil War Yellow Panel on leather trimmed side bars. The side bars are curved to fit the horse's chest. Adjustments are made with Brass Buckles on each side bar and the strap going down to the girth. Small Brass Heart with Eagle or Crossed Sabers in the center. U.S version is Black Leather and Confederate version is Russet Leather.
